Published 3/15/17 Earlier this month, the Dutch and Turkish have been having relation problems. Travel restrictions were enforced by Dutch authorities on Turkish officials. Netherlands didn't allow Turkish Foreign Minister Melvut Cavusoglu's plane to land, and didn't allow the Turkish Minister of Family and Social Policies, who is Fatma Betun Saya Kaya in the country. They both tried to speak at rallies. To respond to the Netherland's scheme, Turkey banned the Dutch Ambassador to Turkey, Cornelis van Riij. Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the Dutch "fascists" and "remants of Nazism".
